I never really know what to post with when I update here. I always feel like I should seperate my posts from here and my LiveJournal so that I'm not always talking about the same thing, but I don't really know how I should go about that. All I really know is that a large majority of the time that I do end up posting here, I feel I should talk about music and/or cosplay, but mostly music. I've never been good at making large posts about things like that, but it's always nice to just talk about it once in a while. Oh yes, and games. I don't play enough games anymore for me to include them in my posts, though.
Recently, I've been getting back into my old tastes, as far as music goes. I forgot how incredibly sexy (yes, sexy) E.S. Posthumus is. I've been listening to a lot of that.
Aside from my instrumental+choir type music, I've been listening to a lot of industrial music again. Bands such as VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk, Melotron, and Wolfsheim have taken over my current playlist. It makes me sad that I've basically ignored groups such as them for almost a year now since I discovered Johnny's Entertainment, not to mention the Korean pop groups that followed. Though I still have my Korean and Japanese pop music there, most of it is back to the industrial music that I loved.
Oh, and there is one Japanese industrial group. I guess it's considered J-rock, but they're more the industrial type of J-rock. Schwarz Stein. I don't know what to say about them, but I love them. I've never really been able to get into much J-rock (though I do love the stuff), but Schwarz Stein happens to be one of the few that I love listening to regularly.
There is one other group that I've recently gotten back into. That would be Qntal. If I have any group to be sad about because I've ignored, I would feel the worst about them. I absolutely love Qntal. Their style, their lyrics, the languages; it's amazing. I couldn't possibly describe their style in words. In fact, if anyone is interested, feel free to bug me on AIM and I'll be happy to send some of my favorite songs. Actually, I'll do that with anything I've mentioned. I loved sharing my music with people, though I'd highly recommend Qntal if they haven't heard them and are interested in that style of music.
That's about it for me today, then. I'll probably try updating this more often in the future.
